Have you struggled on ways to incorporate data usage into your decision making processes? This professional development will explore strategies and tools that educators and workforce development professionals can use to make that shift. We will look at the newest information from the U.S. Census 2020, PIIAC Data and the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget to help inform our programming, assets and growth opportunities for the future. Additionally, we will share best practices on how you in your position can use data to be a better leader and motivator to your community and program.

Sharing research and information from the U.S. Census 2020 as it relates to adult skills building,
family literacy, educational attainment and career credentialing.
4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Best Practices and Strategies
This update will include a set of best practices and strategies of how to incorporate data usage
into your program management and leadership styles.
